Draws your text as block letters five rows tall, built from the # character. The input is upper-cased, each character is stamped into a five by five cell, and the rows are joined in the page from a glyph table that ships inside the code, so there is no font file to fetch.

How to use it

Type the words into the input box. The font dropdown offers Standard, which is the only glyph set this page carries.
Press Generate ASCII.
Press Copy Output and paste the banner into a README, a comment header or a startup script. Keep the font monospace or the columns will not line up.

Lower case is folded to upper case before drawing, so ab! comes out as the letters AB followed by an exclamation mark.

When to use it

Putting a title banner at the top of a README or a shell script.
Marking a section boundary inside a long configuration file or a comment block.
Producing a plain-text logo for a terminal tool's first screen of output.

What it does not do

There is one font. The dropdown lists Standard alone, and the other font names that appear in the code have no glyph data behind them.
The glyph set covers A-Z, 0-9, a space and a short list of punctuation (! ? . , : - _ ' "). Anything else, including accented letters and emoji, is drawn as five blank rows, which leaves a visible gap in the banner.
Every character is exactly five columns wide and nothing wraps, so a long sentence becomes one very wide line that most editors will wrap for you and break visually.
Case is not preserved and the fill character is fixed as #, so there is no way to draw a banner in a different weight or style.
