Privacy Policy

At Blank2Done, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect (spoiler: almost nothing), how we use cookies, and how third-party advertising works on our site. It also explains your rights under the EU/EEA/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

Who we are. Blank2Done (“we”, “us”) operates https://blank2done.com. You can reach us at [email protected]. For the purposes of the GDPR, we are the data controller for the small amount of personal data described below.

1. Information We Collect

Blank2Done does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. All of our tools run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. When you use a PDF converter, image tool, text analyzer, or any other utility on our site, your files and data never leave your device.

We do not require user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information to use our tools. You can use every tool on this site anonymously.

The only personal data processed in connection with this site is processed by third parties as part of serving ads and operating the website:

  • Google (AdSense) and its partners may process your IP address and usage information (via cookies and similar technologies) to select and measure the advertisements you see. Google is an independent controller for this processing. See How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps.
  • Cloudflare, our hosting and CDN provider, processes standard server log data (such as IP address and request time) to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics may aggregate page-view counts; it is cookieless and does not track individuals across sites.

We ourselves keep no database of users, no analytics tied to individuals, no records of what you typed into any tool, and no email list.

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary / essential — used to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode) and your cookie-consent choice. Stored in your browser’s local storage. These do not require consent because the site cannot function without them.
  • Advertising cookies — Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other websites. Set and read by Google, not by us; we cannot read them.

Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message (Google’s certified CMP) before advertising cookies are set. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies for this site in your browser settings.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings page. You can also opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org (US), or www.youronlinechoices.eu (EU).

3. Google AdSense, Monetag and Third-Party Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on Blank2Done. Google AdSense is a service provided by Google LLC that delivers ads to websites based on page content and user behaviour.

In addition to Google AdSense, this site runs advertising tags from Monetag (operated by Monetag Ads / Benjoyaobroute Ltd). Monetag’s tag (loaded from quge5.com and related domains such as 5gvci.com) and its service worker may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, cap how often the same person sees the same ad (frequency capping), and prevent fraud. Monetag acts as an independent controller for this processing. See Monetag’s Privacy Policy for details of the data it processes and your opt-out choices.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads to you based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies allows it to serve ads to you based on your interests. You can opt out of Google’s interest-based advertising by visiting the Google Ads Settings page.

We do not control the specific ads that Google AdSense displays on our site. Google determines which ad to show based on a variety of factors including page content, user location, and browsing history.

Third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your browser, or using web beacons and IP addresses, to collect information as a result of ad serving on this website. This includes Google, which may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags or IP addresses to measure ad performance and to select the ads you see. You can read how Google uses this data at How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps.

4. Third-Party Services

Every JavaScript library our tools use (such as pdf.js) is bundled and served from our own domain. No tool on this site loads code from a third-party CDN, and no request your browser makes to render a tool reaches anyone but this site.

No tool performs a network request of its own. Where a tool needs reference data — exchange rates, for example — that data was fetched once when this site was built and is served to you as a static file. Tools that would require contacting a third party (live DNS resolution, IP geolocation, port scanning, file upload) are deliberately not offered, because offering them would mean your input leaving your device.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

Our own processing is limited to serving the site, and its legal basis is legitimate interest (keeping the site available and secure) or necessity for technical functioning. Advertising-related processing by Google that is not strictly necessary happens only with your consent, collected via Google’s certified consent message shown to EEA/UK/Swiss visitors. You may withdraw that consent at any time (see Section 2).

For the avoidance of doubt: because no tool input ever leaves your device, there is no processing of tool inputs at all, by us or anyone else.

6. Data Security

Because all tool processing happens client-side in your browser, your data is as secure as your own device. We have no databases, no file storage, and no server-side processing that could be breached. Your files, text, and calculations are never transmitted to any server.

7. International Transfers

Google and Cloudflare may transfer the data described in Section 1 outside the EEA and the UK. These transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum; Google additionally uses the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable. For details see Google’s transfer disclosures and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

8. Children’s Privacy

Blank2Done does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). Our tools are designed for general use and do not target children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Your Rights

EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to complain to your national data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk). Because we do not collect personal data ourselves, most requests concern data held by Google; you can exercise rights over Google’s data via the consent-message settings on this site, or through Google’s export tools.

California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected and whether it is sold or shared; to delete personal information; to correct inaccurate personal information; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. As explained in Section 10, third parties may “share” personal information (in the CCPA sense) as part of ad serving; you can opt out at any time via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control in Section 10 below.

To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days (CCPA: within the statutory timeframes).

10. California Notice at Collection and “Sharing” Disclosure

Over the last 12 months, no personal information has been sold by us. Categories of personal information collected by third parties through this site in the last 12 months are limited to: internet or other electronic network activity information (interactions with this site, collected by Google and its partners for ad selection and measurement) and geolocation data at approximate city level (derived from IP address for ad targeting). We do not control these collections; the categories are listed for transparency.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: to opt out of the “sharing” described above, disable advertising cookies for this site in your browser (or clear this site’s cookies), and opt out of interest-based ads in Google’s Ads Settings and at www.aboutads.info. Once you have opted out, our site itself retains nothing further about you.

11. Cookie Consent

We display a cookie consent banner on first visit. You may choose to accept or decline advertising cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage for future visits. You may change your preference at any time by clearing your browser’s cookies and local storage, or by reopening the consent message.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.

13. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please email us at [email protected]. We will respond to all inquiries within 48 hours.
