Extract Email Addresses🔒 100% local
Extract all email addresses from text. Deduplicates and validates format.
Related Tools
Scans pasted text for anything shaped like an email address using an RFC 5322-style pattern and returns a numbered, de-duplicated list with a count. Matching is by shape only: the tool does not check that the mailbox exists or that the domain can receive mail. The whole scan happens over text held on the page.
How to use it
- Paste the text - a mail thread, a CSV column, an HTML dump, a log excerpt.
- Press Extract Emails.
- Read the numbered list, then use Copy Output to take the addresses in order; Reset restores the sample text.
Worked example
Contact [email protected] or [email protected] for details.becomesFound 2 email addresses:
1. [email protected]
2. [email protected]The full stop after the address is not pulled into the match, because the pattern needs an alphanumeric right after each dot.
When to use it
- Pulling contact addresses out of a long mail thread or a forwarded ticket.
- Checking which addresses appear in a page you are about to publish, so you can remove the ones you did not mean to expose.
- Building a quick recipient list from pasted prose.
What it does not do
- Anything with the right shape counts, including addresses inside code comments, quoted examples, or a string like [email protected] - expect false positives on log files.
- A local-only address is not matched: user@localhost and apple@ are both skipped because the pattern requires at least one dot followed by alphanumerics.
- Duplicates are collapsed, so you cannot see how many times an address occurred, and the order is first appearance with no sorting by domain.
