How We Make Money

Transparency is the foundation of trust. Here is exactly how this site is funded, and why nobody can pay us to change what a tool does.

Advertising

Blank2Done is free to use and funded by advertising. We display ads through Google AdSense, which pays us a share of the revenue from the ads shown on our pages. That is our only current source of revenue. Ads are served by Google, not by us: we do not choose the individual advertisers, we do not receive your tool input, and we do not pass anything you type to an advertiser. What Google collects as a result of ad serving is described in our privacy policy.

Our own products

If we release our own paid products — downloadable toolkits, for example — this page will say so plainly, and they will be sold by us rather than through an affiliate network. We have no paid tiers, no subscriptions, and no accounts, and we do not gate any tool behind payment.

What we do not do

We do not run affiliate links. If you see a recommendation on this site, nobody paid for it and we earn nothing when you act on it. We do not accept payment for a review, a listing, a placement, or a favour, and no advertiser can influence which tools exist, what they do, or how they are described. We do not sell, share or transmit the contents of anything you paste into a tool — the tools run entirely in your browser, and that is a technical guarantee rather than a promise.

Editorial independence

Every tool on this site is built in-house. A tool is published only once its logic is implemented and verified against an independent reference — a known-answer test computed by something other than the tool itself — and a tool that cannot work honestly in a browser is removed rather than faked. You can read how that testing works on our methodology page.

Advertising buys space on a page. It does not buy a tool, a description, a ranking, or a mention, and we do not offer those for sale.

If this ever changes

If we ever add a revenue source we do not have today — affiliate links, for instance — we will describe it here before we use it, and every page carrying such a link will say so at the top. This page is the single place that answers the question, and it will not quietly go out of date.
