Cleans up whitespace in pasted text and prints two answers side by side: one with every space, tab and line break stripped out, and one where runs of spaces or tabs collapse to a single space and two-or-more blank lines become one. It also counts how much whitespace it saw. The paste stays in the page - the tool makes no request and keeps nothing after you close the tab.
How to use it
- Paste or type the text into the top box.
- Press Process. The output box shows the original with its character and whitespace counts, then both cleaned versions, then a one-line stat summary.
- Press Copy Output to take the whole report, or Clear to empty both boxes.

When to use it
- Stripping line breaks and indentation out of a chunk of code or log text before pasting it into a single-line field.
- Turning a double-spaced paragraph into single-spaced text.
- Finding how many leading spaces a block of pasted content carries when alignment looks wrong.
What it does not do
- The two results do different jobs and are not interchangeable. Remove ALL whitespace joins words together with nothing between them, so it is only safe for text where spaces carry no meaning.
- Collapse extra spaces only rebuilds the string with tabs turned into a single space and runs of blank lines reduced, so a deliberately indented block loses its indentation.
- The stats label is literal: '1 runs of multiple spaces collapsed' appears even for a single run, and the count only covers literal runs of two or more spaces, not tabs or newlines.
- Process is disabled while the box is empty, so the 'Enter text with spaces to remove' error only appears through code paths a visitor cannot reach.
