Convert text between different cases: lower, upper, title, sentence, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE.
Related Tools
Applies one of nine case styles to text, line by line. Lowercase and uppercase transform each line in place; title, sentence, camel, Pascal, snake, kebab and CONSTANT split the line on whitespace and rejoin it, so one line becomes one title or one identifier. Empty lines are dropped from the output.
How to use it
- Paste the text into the Input box, one value per line if you are converting a whole column.
- Choose a case style from the list.
- Copy the Output box, remembering that each input line produces one output line.
Worked example
hello world
this is a testbecomesHello World
This Is A TestTitle Case, one result per input line.
the quick brown foxbecomesThe quick brown foxSentence case capitalises the first word and lowercases every word after it.
HELLO WORLDbecomeshello_worldsnake_case mode.
When to use it
- Converting a list of headings to title case for a document or a spreadsheet column.
- Turning human labels into snake_case or kebab-case keys for a config file.
- Producing CONSTANT_CASE names for a set of environment variables.
- Normalising a pasted column of mixed-case values so string comparisons behave.
What it does not do
- Title Case capitalises every word, including of and and; there is no small-word rule.
- Sentence case lowercases everything after the first word, so a proper noun in the middle of a line loses its capital: HELLO WORLD becomes Hello world.
- camel, Pascal, snake, kebab and CONSTANT collapse spaces, so a line longer than one word becomes a single token.
- Only whitespace separates words. Hyphens and underscores are kept, so already_snake in camel mode stays already_snake.
- Blank lines are removed, which makes a line-by-line comparison with the source shift by one wherever the input had gaps.
